Alec Shillingburg

Alec Shillingburg joined Trinity Capital in May 2025 as a Senior Accountant. He began his career as an external auditor at Deloitte, serving both public and private clients, primarily in the real estate and industrial services industries. Prior to joining Trinity, Alec worked in the National Accounting department at KB Home.

Alec received his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Arizona State University, graduating summa cum laude from Barrett, The Honors College. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Arizona.

Alec lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he enjoys hiking and trying new restaurants. He also enjoys traveling and has a goal of visiting every national park. His favorite sports teams include the Diamondbacks, Suns, Broncos, and ASU.

Brown’s 30 years of experience in venture equity and venture debt is apparent in his ability to adeptly manage sales and strategic business operations working with early-stage companies.

He served as general partner at Point Financial Capital Partners, a venture leasing fund and held a prior role as the president and CFO of InvestLinc Financial Services, an early-stage private equity fund and consulting firm. He has also worked as a partner at Cornerstone Equity Partners, a private equity fund.
