Alex Hernandez

Alex Hernandez serves as an Associate Director on Trinity Capital’s Life Sciences Credit team, where he leads the underwriting process for new investment opportunities and manages client relationships in the company’s portfolio.

Prior to joining the Trinity team, Alex was an underwriter at Cigna Insurance.

He holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Northern Arizona University.

Outside of work, Alex is an avid chess player, enjoys reading, and loves playing pool with friends.

Brown’s 30 years of experience in venture equity and venture debt is apparent in his ability to adeptly manage sales and strategic business operations working with early-stage companies.

He served as general partner at Point Financial Capital Partners, a venture leasing fund and held a prior role as the president and CFO of InvestLinc Financial Services, an early-stage private equity fund and consulting firm. He has also worked as a partner at Cornerstone Equity Partners, a private equity fund.
