Barry Liu
Barry Liu is an Associate Director of Credit and Portfolio on Trinity Capital’s Sponsor Finance team. He evaluates potential investment opportunities, presents deal rationale to the Investment Committee, and manages client relationships for existing portfolio investments.
Prior to joining Trinity Capital, Barry was an Associate at Hercules Capital, underwriting debt investments for sponsor-backed and venture stage technology companies. Previously, Barry worked as an Analyst at SMBC, underwriting debt investments and managing a portfolio of loans to sponsor-backed middle market and lower enterprise companies across various industries.
Barry holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Boston University.
Outside of work, Barry enjoys hiking, playing volleyball, and fly fishing.
