Josh Mackey is a Director on the Tech Lending team at Trinity Capital, based in San Francisco. He joined the firm in 2025 and brings over a decade of experience supporting innovative technology companies across the U.S., with a focus on software, fintech, and hardware sectors.

Prior to joining Trinity, Josh held various credit and origination roles at leading financial institutions, including Comerica Bank, Silicon Valley Bank, TriplePoint Capital and Liquidity Group. Throughout his career, he has partnered with high-growth startups and established tech companies, delivering tailored debt solutions to support their strategic objectives.

Josh is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Josh lives in San Francisco with his wife and two children. Outside of work, he enjoys cycling and spending time outdoors with his family.

He served as general partner at Point Financial Capital Partners, a venture leasing fund and held a prior role as the president and CFO of InvestLinc Financial Services, an early-stage private equity fund and consulting firm. He has also worked as a partner at Cornerstone Equity Partners, a private equity fund.
