Chris Burwell
Chris Burwell serves as a Senior Analyst on Trinity’s Life Sciences Credit team, where he focuses on analyzing new investment opportunities and providing investment recommendations.
Chris began his career at Bluestone Venture Partners, an early-stage life sciences–focused venture capital fund, where he spent more than five years, most recently serving as Manager of Research. In this role, he led new deal diligence, supported portfolio company management and reporting, and contributed to day-to-day operational and fund administration functions.
Chris holds BS degrees in Finance and Supply Chain Management from the University of Illinois.
Originally from central Illinois, Chris is now based in San Diego, having relocated from Tucson, AZ. In his free time, he enjoys exploring the outdoors, including fishing, hiking, and golfing.

He served as general partner at Point Financial Capital Partners, a venture leasing fund and held a prior role as the president and CFO of InvestLinc Financial Services, an early-stage private equity fund and consulting firm.
