Trinity Capital

Creative Design Intern

Trinity Capital Inc. (Nasdaq: TRIN) is an international alternative asset manager that seeks to deliver consistent returns for investors through access to private credit markets. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented intern to join our marketing team as a part-time Creative Design Intern based 100% onsite in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a publicly traded organization where you’ll be exposed to brand development, marketing strategy, and design across print, digital, and presentation formats.

Job Description

The part-time Creative Design Intern role offers flexible, project-based engagement with Trinity Capital’s marketing team. The right candidate will bring a strong design portfolio and an eye for cohesive, corporate branding – translating our brand standards into polished assets across print, digital, and presentation formats. This role has the potential to grow into a longer-term or full-time engagement as new initiatives are launched.

To be successful in this role, you should have demonstrated experience producing on-brand creative assets, a strong portfolio of real-world or school-based design work, and the ability to maintain brand consistency across diverse mediums.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and produce corporate-branded materials including one-pagers, email campaigns, PowerPoint presentations, event pages, letterhead, and social assets
  • Maintain and apply brand standards consistently across all channels and mediums (both digital and print)
  • Assist in developing and refining branding elements such as logos, templates, and style guides
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure creative output aligns with Trinity Capital’s brand identity
  • Assist with additional marketing projects as needs arise (corporate events, marketing email communication, press releases, etc.)

Characteristics

  • Brand-conscious: understands the difference between beautiful artwork and disciplined, consistent corporate design – and knows when each is called for
  • Detail-oriented: highly organized with a strong eye for consistency across formats, mediums, and channels
  • Self-motivated: able to manage multiple projects independently with minimal oversight in a fast-moving environment
  • Collaborative: communicates well with internal teams, demonstrates professional decorum, and is eager to grow with the organization

Requirements

  • Portfolio demonstrating cohesive, corporate design work across multiple mediums (school projects, internships, freelance work, or personal projects all welcome)
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Canva, or equivalent
  • Experience designing branded templates (PowerPoint, email, print) preferred
  • Copywriting experience is a plus but not required.
  • Recent graduate or current upperclassman in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred; Design school or equivalent real-world experience is equally valued.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, talk, utilize a computer, and read computer screens for extended periods of time
  • Maintain consistent, repetitive motion for data entry (typing/clicking)
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

Other:

  • No travel expected
