Daniel Salstein

Daniel Salstein serves as Deputy General Counsel, Equipment Finance at Trinity Capital, where he advises on all legal matters related to the company’s Equipment Finance team.

Prior to joining Trinity, Dan was General Counsel at NFS Leasing, an equipment finance firm based in the Boston area. Dan also practiced law at several small- to mid-sized firms in the region. Dan brings extensive experience in the equipment finance and asset-based lending sectors, with a focus on commercial transactions, secured lending and equipment leasing, as well as workout and default matters.

He earned his B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and his J.D. from Syracuse University.

Dan resides in Phoenix with his wife and two daughters. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, playing tennis and pickleball, and watching movies.

He served as general partner at Point Financial Capital Partners, a venture leasing fund and held a prior role as the president and CFO of InvestLinc Financial Services, an early-stage private equity fund and consulting firm. He has also worked as a partner at Cornerstone Equity Partners, a private equity fund.
