Rachel Tenin
Rachel is a Senior Associate General Counsel for Tech Lending, Asset Based Lending, and Sponsor Finance at Trinity Capital. She partners closely with Trinity’s business teams from origination through closing, and remains a resource to portfolio companies for the life of the facility, translating legal and structural complexity into practical guidance the business can act on.
Prior to joining Trinity, Rachel was a Shareholder at Polsinelli PC, where she was a member of the capital markets and commercial lending group in the firm’s Phoenix office. Before that, she was an associate at Chapman and Cutler LLP in the commercial lending practice group in Chicago. Across these roles, Rachel has documented, structured, and negotiated credit facilities for both borrower and lender clients, spanning asset-based, cash flow, and technology-focused lending structures. Her practice has covered the full lifecycle of a facility, from initial diligence and closing through amendments, waivers, and workout, giving her a practical, structural understanding of how deals are meant to perform, not just how they’re papered.
Rachel received her BA and JD, magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is an active member of the Arizona and Illinois bar associations.
Outside the office, Rachel is an animal lover. She shares her home with Coco, a chihuahua mix rescued from a Phoenix shelter, and Kiki, a cockatiel who has designated himself Coco’s food critic and unofficial bathwater tester. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, reading, and going down internet rabbit holes on whatever random topic has caught her attention that week.

He served as general partner at Point Financial Capital Partners, a venture leasing fund and held a prior role as the president and CFO of InvestLinc Financial Services, an early-stage private equity fund and consulting firm. He has also worked as a partner at Cornerstone Equity Partners, a private equity fund.
